Radio Host Character Sketches

I'm a bit reluctant to post my initial sketches now because when I showed them to a lecturer and a mate of mine, they both thought I'd drawn three girls! My drawing skills are obviously a little rusty, although it didn't help that my open mouth on Peter apparently looked like a lady's lips. Meh. Anyway, here is my first (failed) attempt at some caricatures:

I quickly moved on to painting with a tablet directly in Flash. Josh supervised my efforts to make sure I created a better, more masculine likeness. I'm not sure if I should fully-trust a person who draws naked Hitler's in his spare time and has chosen to create a 3D model of Nicholas Cage for their dissertation project (what sane person does sick things like that?!) but despite his strangeness he is the best Flash artist I know. So here is a sneak peak of what I did earlier today:
